An Empirical Study of Term Indexing in the Darwin Implementation of the Model Evolution Calculus
نویسندگان
چکیده
The Model Evolution calculus by Baumgartner and Tinelli lifts to first order logic the DPLL procedure that has been very successfully employed for propositional logic. The Darwin solver is the first implementation of the Model Evolution calculus and, as with any new implementation, once core functionality is in place the process of incremental improvement begins. This report details our effort to implement discrimination tree term indexing in the Darwin solver. This new term indexing capability provides an alternative to the substitution tree term indexing that is currently available in the Darwin solver. ∗Partially supported by funding from the U.S. Army Materiel Systems Analysis Activity.

A Nonlinear Creep-damage Constitutive Model of Mudstone Based on the Fractional Calculus Theory
During the flood development in an oil field, the creep characteristic of mudstone is one of the important factors causing casing damage. In this study, based on the theory of fractional order differential and taking into account the creep damage evolution rules, a fractional nonlinear creep-damage model is proposed to reflect the instantaneous deformation in loading processes and the accelerat...
متن کاملDarwin - A Theorem Prover for the Model Evolution Calculus
Darwin is the first implementation of the Model Evolution Calculus by Baumgartner and Tinelli. The Model Evolution Calculus lifts the DPLL procedure to first-order logic. Darwin is meant to be a fast and clean implementation of the calculus, showing its effectiveness and providing a base for further improvements and extensions. Based on a brief summary of the Model Evolution Calculus, we descri...
متن کاملBuoyancy Term Evolution in the Multi Relaxation Time Model of Lattice Boltzmann Method with Variable Thermal Conductivity Using a Modified Set of Boundary Conditions
During the last few years, a number of numerical boundary condition schemes have been used to study various aspects of the no-slip wall condition using the lattice Boltzmann method. In this paper, a modified boundary condition method is employed to simulate the no-slip wall condition in the presence of the body force term near the wall. These conditions are based on the idea of the bounce-back ...
متن کاملA Modified Empirical Path Loss Model for 4G LTE Network in Lagos, Nigeria
The quality of signal at a particular location is essential to determine the performance of mobile system. The problem of poor network in Lagos, Nigeria needs to be addressed especially now that the attention is toward online learning and meetings. Existing empirical Path Loss (PL) models designed elsewhere are not appropriate for predicting the 4G Long-Term Evolution (LTE) signal in Nigeria. T...
